A specific method for detection and quantification of genetically modified Bt11 maize
At the present time 14% of the world’s planted maize (Zea mays) acreage is genetically modified (GM) and the GM maize Bt 11 is an important product worldwide. Many consumers are concerned about the use of genetically modified plants in food production and as a consequence labelling of GM food has become an important issue.
